“While it is not what we hoped for or could have ever imagined, we will begin the 2020-2021 school year in an unprecedented style. It also allows students who wish to engage in all-remote learning to do so as well, but with strict online attendance requirements. The district, which includes six high schools serving eight communities, released the plan on Tuesday evening.

The Freehold Regional High School District has released its reopening plan that includes a hybrid schedule with students attending in-person classes two days per week and alternating Wednesdays based on their last name. Candidates for home improvement will be those who have filled out an application and have been determined by a committee to have the greatest physical, emotional, and financial need.Watch Video: Schools face more uncertainty for the fall This is an intergenerational effort designed for the whole family. Who: Workers will be volunteers ranging in age from 12 to 70+. All homeowners will be invited to participate in home improvement efforts in any way they are able. Vacation Bible School will be available for homeowners children who are too young to help on-site. What: We will be doing construction work and general home improvement including: rooﬁng, painting, building wheelchair ramps, siding, repairing porches, installing windows and doors, putting up drywall, plumbing, electric, and more! Necessary permits will be pulled well in advance. To accomplish as much as possible in such a short time, work projects will primarily be within a 20-minute driving radius of Allentown. Where: Our efforts are concentrated in Allentown, NJ and the surrounding area. When: One of the last weeks in July, Wednesday through Sunday. Our hope is that a week of concentrated home improvement will lead to life-long relationships.
